Cape Cod Wedding at the West Falmouth Library

Heading to the West Falmouth Library for the Clarkson-Morey wedding, I knew that it was going to be an extraordinarily special day. This gorgeous, incredibly in-love couple knew this had to be an intimate affair. No more than 15-20 people were planned at the ceremony. As I drove up to the library, I couldn’t help but notice the History right away.  Read up on the West Falmouth Library history and renovation Here. I highly recommend you take a moment and stop by. It’s small but beautiful and staffed by friendly, well knowledge people.

I listened to Krista describe the planning and her hopes for her wedding day and was prepared for family and friends working together for their nuptials. She utilized all that was available to her to make this small wedding feel grand and elegant. The Library has simple but beautiful architecture with a fireplace and pretty accents. Her friends used the books on hand, with some of her flowers to make accents on tables and  near the front where they were saying their vows. Their caterers, Eat Your Heart Out,  even added to the experience by the way they set their tables with simple items, letting the space feel clean and elegant. Not to mention their food is amazing.

I find that one of the best things about small weddings is that they lend themselves to especially tender moments. They also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day in freezing January. They welcomed loads of friends to their after party at the library with Darrell’s band, The Puffy Elvis Band, providing the amazing danceable rock music.
